MANUFACTURER’S LIMITED WARRANTY
Rycote Microphone Windshields Ltd (“Rycote”) warrants to purchasers of Rycote manufactured products (“Products”) within the European Union, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Turkey (“Purchasers” or a “Purchaser” as the context may require) that during the warranty period (as defined below), Rycote or a Rycote authorised distributor will, in a commercially reasonable time, remedy defects in materials, design and workmanship in Products free of charge by repairing or, should Rycote in its discretion deem it necessary, replacing the Product in accordance with this Warranty (unless otherwise required by law). This Warranty is only valid and enforceable in the country where the Purchaser has purchased the Product provided that Rycote has intended the Product for sale in that country. However, if the Purchaser purchased the Product in a member state of the European Union, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland or Turkey and Rycote originally intended the Product for sale in one of those countries, this Warranty is valid and enforceable in all of those above listed countries.

The warranty period starts on the date of the Product’s original purchase by the first end-user Purchaser and expires twenty four months after that date (hereinafter the “Warranty Period”). The Warranty Period will not be extended or renewed or otherwise affected due to subsequent resale, Rycote authorised repair or replacement of the Product.

HOW TO GET WARRANTY SERVICE

Any claim under this Warranty is subject to the Purchaser notifying Rycote or a Rycote authorised distributor of the alleged defect within a reasonable time of it having come to the attention of the Purchaser and in any event no later than expiry of the Warranty Period. This Warranty is not enforceable if the Product has been modified or repaired by anyone other than a Rycote authorised distributor or if it is repaired using unauthorised spare parts (to be determined in the sole discretion of Rycote). Device Compatibility

  1. røde NTG-4
The NTG4 builds on the platform created by RØDE's award-winning NTG1 shotgun microphone. A broadcast-quality directional condenser microphone designed to provide premium audio recording in a versatile range of applications including on-camera and boom mounted.

  2. RYC079002 HC-22 Shotgun Microphone (22cm)
The HC-15 and HC-22 are high-quality hypercardioid shotgun microphones. Both of these mics offer performance equal to or better than many of the more expensive professional microphones, while also offering a self-noise level lower than almost any equivalent sized shotgun mic at any price.

How did we do it? We kept things simple.

The HC microphones are shipped with only a case — no mic clips, no foams, no other accessories. To reduce costs, we decided to minimise the packaging and shipping costs by not paying to send “air” across the world. We ask that you please find compatible Rycote foams, Softies, windshield kits, shock mounts and other accessories near you.

Our new microphones were designed in-house and are made at Rycote in our factory in the U.K. As such, we are able to utilise much of our current manufacturing and testing resources we use to make other Rycote products. Therefore our investment costs for production was not as high as if we had started making mics from scratch. This combined with a modular material and components design allowed us to create two hypercardioid mics cost effectively and pass on more value to you.
  3. neumann KMR 81i
The KMR 81 is a shotgun microphone with a high directivity that remains within the acceptance angle independent of frequency. The advantage is that a sound source, for example, an actor on stage - will not change its apparent tonal balance when moving within this area. The KMR 81 has been specifically designed for electronic news gathering.
  4. neumann KMR-81D
The KMR 81 D is the transition of the well-established KMR 81 i shotgun microphone into the digital domain. It provides all of the features of its analog counterpart, which made it a favorite of sound engineers in movie and documentary productions. Additionally it offers the advantages of the digital circuit technology, such as extended dynamic range, a more robust operation (EMC safe) and the avoidance of clipping as a result of the integrated peak limiter/compressor.

The settings for all functions can be recalled, set and stored in the microphone by using one of the digital microphone interfaces.
  5. sennheiser MKH 416
A short shotgun interference tube microphone for film, radio and television, especially for outside broadcast applications. The low-impedance capsule design makes it virtually immune to high humidity and condensation. Transformerless and fully floating balanced output.
