The M 990 microphone combines a modern large diaphragm pick-up capsule with the warm, full sound quality of a vacuum tube amplifier, which is especially complimentary for vocalists and solo instruments. The microphone features high sensitivity with an excellent signal-to-noise ratio.

The time-proven pressure gradient transducer uses a large diameter gold sputtered plastic membrane. The vacuum tube preamplifier uses a pentode tube working as a triode for outstanding sonic characteristics.
